The Company
We are a global organization with around 40,000 employees around the world.
We are looking for an experienced HR Director to take responsibility for the worldwide HR provision for our businesses, focusing on Europe.
The Role
Used to working in a matrix managed organization, you will understand the complexities as you report functionally to the VP HR based in the US and operationally to the Global GM & Vice President of the business. Your remit will be to work across the organization and develop, as well as implement, the HR strategy that will ensure we meet our challenging objectives.
Operating within a true Business Partner model, you will manage country specific HR teams, promoting a culture that aligns HR support to achieve improved business and people performance and will gain commitment across the organization to invest in ongoing employee learning and development and wider performance management programmes. You will also ensure that we drive a consistent alignment to best practice in HR policy and procedure working across our global community to ensure that specific local requirements are addressed.
Possessing a strong commercial focus, you will build excellent working relationships with leaders across the organization as you influence and contribute to business success at a time of business transformation - pre-empting HR challenges that will impact on our ability to move forward.
Naturally, as a highly influential HR generalist, ideally used to managing unions and Works Councils, you will provide the depth and breadth of experience to lead across the full HR remit.
Requirements
Quantifiable expertise in managing complex, multi-site, multi-country HR programmes will be combined with HR/Business qualifications and a significant, relevant, track record in a fast paced environment - ideally from within the high tech, healthcare sector.
